FRANKFURT, Germany -- Mario Goetze came off the bench to score against his childhood club and Arjen Robben and Thomas Mueller added late goals in Bayern Munichs 3-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the top Bundesliga derby on Saturday. The final score did not reflect the flow of the match, as Dortmund had the better chances until Bayerns late flurry. "The first goal was very important," said Robben, who scored the winner when Bayern beat Dortmund 2-1 in the Champions League final in May. "It looks like a clear-cut victory but it was only 1-0 until the 85th minute. They had to try to force things at the end and we used the space," Robben said. Goetze scored in the 66th, 10 minutes after coming on to a chorus of boos from the 80,000 Dortmund fans who have not forgiven him the off-season move to Borussias biggest rival. Mueller fed Goetze from the right and the forward was left unchallenged just inside the area to drill the ball inside the far post with the outside of his foot. Goetze refrained from celebrating the goal but was mobbed by teammates. Robben doubled the lead in the 85th by collecting a long ball from Thiago Alcantara and chipping home. Robben then fed Philipp Lahm on the right who passed inside for Mueller to complete the victory in the 87th. Bayern stretched its record unbeaten run to 38 matches as Pep Guardiolas team retained a four-point lead. Dortmunds second straight league loss dropped it to third behind Bayer Leverkusen, which won 1-0 at Hertha Berlin thanks to Stefan Kiesslings eighth goal of the season. Leverkusen is now three points ahead of Dortmund, which trails Bayern by seven. Dortmund, unbeaten by Bayern in six previous league games, was missing its regular back four. Bayern was without Franck Ribery, among others, with both teams hit by injuries. Manuel Friedrich, a 34-year-old former Germany defender who had been without a club this season, made his debut for Dortmund after getting a contract earlier this week. "We didnt deserve to lose by such a clear score, but we broke down after the first goal," Friedrich said. Bayern put on some early pressure but Robert Lewandowski had the first chance, sending high his volley from close range. Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer made a good save from Marco Reus, while Roman Weidenfeller caught Mario Mandzukics half-volley without problems. Mandzukic was ineffective and was replaced by Goetze, which proved to be a winning move by Guardiola. "We won against a team with the best counterattack in the world," Guardiola said. "If you let them run, they are unstoppable. We played well the first 15 minutes but the rest of the first half was not good. We were better in the second half." Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp said he didnt care by how much his team lost. "Until 1-0 we had the better chances, but we left Mario unmarked to score and after the second goal we gave up," Klopp said. In other matches, Eintracht Frankfurt overcame a two-goal deficit before conceding a late equalizer in a 3-3 draw at home against Schalke. Nuremberg remained without a win this season by playing to a 1-1 draw at home with Wolfsburg, Freiburg won 1-0 at Eintracht Braunschweig and Augsburg beat Hoffenheim 2-0. Schalke scored two quick early goals, before Frankfurt replied with three after the break. But a lucky bounce allowed Benedikt Hoewedes to secure the late draw for Schalke. Frankfurt has lost several points by conceding goals in the last 10 minutes and again experienced a similar fate. Schalke went ahead in the 14th when Johannes Flum headed into his own net while attempting to clear a cross from Atsuto Uchida. Four minutes later, Joel Matip doubled the lead with a header off a free kick from Dennis Aogo. Flum struck the post before putting Frankfurt on the board in the 56th with a looping header over Schalke goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand. Frankfurts equalizer was similar, with Joselu connecting with a cross from Sebastian Jung to send another lob over Hildebrand. Joselu, back in Eintrachts starting lineup for the first time since the opening round, put his team ahead with a blistering left-foot shot from the edge of the penalty area. But in the 86th, a Frankfurt clearance bounced back into the area to fall kindly in front of Hoewedes, who slotted home for the draw. In Berlin, Kiessling notched his eighth goal of the season but Leverkusens second forward Sidney Sam limped off the pitch early in the game with a hamstring injury and could miss next weeks Champions League match against Manchester United. Kalen Ballage Jersey . Maximilian Arnold put Wolfsburg ahead in the eighth minute, when the stationary Fallou Diagne allowed him to guide Patrick Ochs cross beyond the helpless Freiburg goalkeeper, and Ivica Olic doubled the lead three minutes later after Luiz Gustavo did well to set him up. The Honda Indy Toronto was postponed Saturday after steady rain throughout the afternoon made for hazardous conditions on the 11-turn, 2.81-kilometre track at Exhibition Place. "Im gutted. I just feel so bad for all the fans here in Toronto," said driver James Hinchcliffe of Oakville, Ont. "Its the worst case scenario -- the rain started right as the race was supposed to start, the conditions were just so bad. "Just gutted for these guys. I really hope we can get back tomorrow and mother nature co-operates a bit more and we can put on a show. These fans have been great all week and they definitely deserve it." The race was moved to Sunday morning, with the second half of a planned doubleheader still scheduled for the afternoon. Both races were also shortened from 85 laps to 65. The morning race will feature a rolling start, while the second will be a standing start. Qualifying for the second race will also be determined by current points standings, which puts Helio Castroneves on pole. Driver visibility and a slick street course led to a pair of accidents before Saturdays race ever got started when Ryan Briscoe and Will Power each hit the wall. Even the pace car nearly slid into a corner. "The conditions were tough for sure," said Ryan Hunter-Reay. "I cant speak for the drivers in the back on how visibility was but it was borderline -- marginal even -- for us." Sebastien Bourdais was set to start on pole after qualifying first in the morning session. Bourdais waited under an umbrella through two red flags that twice pulled the cars off the track as IndyCar officials hoped for the weather to clear. It never did. Bourdais, who was to start a race from the pole for the first time since 2007, looked steamed as he left the pits for good. Hell start again in first place Sunday morning. IndyCar president Derrick Wallker said race officials waited as long as they could for conditions to improve.dddddddddddd "I think it would have been crazy to have started the race today," said Walker. "I mean it doesnt look like a lot of water but when you get out there and look at it, its enough to make a difference. ... "I dont think we did the wrong thing. We waited and waited and part of the indecision ... was really us just going as late as we could before we called it." The race, which was initially shortened from 85 laps to 65 and two hours to 90 minutes to compensate for the delay, was finally called after well over two hours of waiting. The first casualty of the weather was a planned standing start that had to be scrapped in favour of a safer, single-file rolling start. Briscoe then collided with the same turn where he broke his wrist last year. Power, who was supposed to start second, slid into a 180 and damaged his car to trigger another delay. Powers Penke crew hustled to get his car fixed and back on the grid, but the effort was futile in the end when the race was cancelled and soggy fans left the track. IndyCar races can be run in the rain, the last one as recently as June 28 at the doubleheader in Houston. But Walker said sweepers couldnt keep water from collecting on the track at Exhibition Place. Driver and fan safety, in the end, trumped the race. "Racing in the rains great but you cant go and throw everybody in the fence just because the conditions are archaic and I think they were that today," said Walker. Both races Sunday could be just as wet. More rain is in the forecast, but Walker was adamant IndyCar would run at least one race in Toronto. "I think wed probably stay here as long as we possible could to get a race in, for sure," said Walker who added there was a chance it might also happen Monday if necessary. "But I think were going to get it in tomorrow. At least one race tomorrow." Wholesale USA Soccer Jerseysdiscount uswnt jerseyWholesale AC Milan JerseysWholesale Arsenal JerseysWholesale A.S.
